About Us

We’re Magda and Chris

a father and daughter duo sharing a family tradition of passion for history and a deep love for Warsaw. Though we come from different professional backgrounds and focus on different topics, we're united by a common passion: helping visitors connect with the rich, complex, and often surprising story of our capital.

Magda studied Media and worked in the UK and the Netherlands, but her heart always belonged to Warsaw. She combined her academic background with her passion for history to become a storyteller through and through. Her specialties include the history of Warsaw’s Jewish community—both the pre-war vibrancy and wartime tragedy—as well as the city's incredible post-war reconstruction. She's particularly fascinated by the determination of post-war generations to rebuild a shattered city into the 2-million-strong capital it is today.

Chris brings years of experience from the world of corporate management, now channeling that expertise into leading full-day tours—especially for business travelers looking to explore beyond the surface. His niche? The hidden military fortresses of Warsaw. Often unnoticed by casual passersby, these sites hold fascinating, little-known stories from Warsaw’s layered military past.

More Than Guides: Passionate Storytellers of Warsaw and Beyond

What binds us is more than family—it’s our shared dedication to learning, growing, and connecting with others through our city’s history. We’re constantly expanding our knowledge and qualifications, having completed the official year-long licensing program for Warsaw tour guides, as well as specialized courses in Warsaw’s Jewish history, museum interpretation (for institutions like the Cold War Museum and the Jewish Historical Institute), and even nature guiding.

Yes, we can also take you beyond the city! As certified guides for the beautiful Kampinos National Park just outside Warsaw, Magda is happy to offer nature-focused tours when you need a break from the past and a breath of fresh forest air.

We look forward to showing you around Warsaw—whether you're here for its stories, its resilience, or its hidden corners. Let us help you discover a side of the city you won’t find in a guidebook.
